50 Cent performed in Angola, Africa and left with a few less pounds of bling (diamonds). At around the 1:40 mark in the above video, we see somebody leap on stage from out the crowd and jack 50’s chain from off of his neck. I hear that they never caught the culprit and 50 never got his shiz back. I guess this is what happens when your one candy shop diamond chain could feed a whole damn village. I’m just sayin’.

Living Lohan is a new reality show on the E channel showcasing Lindsay Lohan’s Family. Her family includes, her sister Ali Lohan, her mama Dina Lohan and her little brother Cody Lohan. Though Lindsay isn’t going to be making an appearance on the show, the shows going to be all about Ali Lohan and her battle to stardom. The show will premiere in the summer. I’m definitely going to see what this shows about, since i’m a fan of E reality shows such as The Girls Next Door, and Keeping up with the Kardashians.

First a Who Wore It Better? Heidi Montag in a Ralph Lauren 08 Runway look or the model. I say the model, but models always look better. Heidi looks good too, it fits the derby theme.
One more of Heidi Montag and BF/BFF Spencer Pratt. I got to give it to Spencer, I hate the guy and think he’s a douche but he knows how to work a suit.
The Girls Next Door came. The first is for the actual Derby, the second picture was taken at the Barnstable Brown gala. Kendra Wilkinson (the one on the far left) always looks like the odd one out, while the other 2 know how to work events. They always theme out. It always makes looking at them fun.
Other stars that showed up (and pictured below) include Adrien Grenier and Isabel Lucas, Gabrielle Union, and Molly Sims. There were other celebrities but sort of on the D-list, I figure you can live without them for now.
Ohh its going to be good and a bit of sexy, I can’t wait for this to come out.

I also found the video that started it all, someone was just bored and thought this scheme up. I think its brilliant, i’m a big fan of urban/hiphop dance (cause i wish i could do it myself) and I think that this could be the biggest dance battle on youtube. I watched it did you? It was pretty damn good. Friday estimate came to $38.5 million. Whats that say? It says you should go watch it…and make sure you stay for after the credits for a sneak peak at something so awesome.
Iron Man blasted off in theaters on Friday and hauled in an estimated $33M from an ultrawide 4,105 North American theaters to officially kick off the summer blockbuster season with a bang. Add in brisk ticket sales for early shows on Thursday night starting at 8PM and the total reached $38.5M at close of business on Friday night. Robert Downey Jr. headlines the cast playing the metal man with Jon Favreau directing. Reviews were the best for any wide release this year.
The remarkable tally stands as the second biggest opening day in box office history for a non-sequel trailing only the $39.4M of fellow Marvel Comics super hero Spider-Man from this very same weekend in 2002. Tony Stark and pals edged out Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone which launched in November 2001 with $32.3M on its opening Friday. That figure however, would amount to roughly $40M at today’s ticket prices. Still, Iron Man could not be in better company given that the character is not as universally known as Spider-Man, Batman, or Superman. Audience feedback has been very positive too as the Paramount release has earned a solid A- average from over 3,000 users of Yahoo Movies.
Iron Man was also in the same vicinity as X2: X-Men United which bowed this weekend in 2003 with a $31.2M Friday representing 37% of its eventual $85.6M weekend debut. Those figures at 2008 prices would translate to approximately $37M and $100M, respectively. The X-Men sequel and Iron Man both benefited from a bulit-in audience of comic fans, strong reviews, and the free and clear marketplace that the first weekend of May provides. However, X2 as a sequel had more upfront demand.
Should Iron Man follow a similar path, it could soar to $85-90M over the Friday-to-Sunday period and raise its cume to $90-95M when adding in Thursday grosses.
M.I.A. (my-ah) the Sri Lankan wonda is set to release a her own clothing line. She got her first start modeling for Marc Jacobs campaign. It looks to me that she’s going to put out wild eclectic colors and designs.
MIA told WWD that she has been currently rocking her own collection of gear . M.I.A’s collection includes bomber jackets, leggings & T-shirts. The collection has been said to featured bold bright hues & graphic prints.
I love EVERYTHING about M.I.A, from her music, to her style, everything. But it seems like her clothing line caters more to the sneakerheads, but i’m sure she’ll make her line her own.
Lauren Conrad has released her Summer in the City line, an addition to her Summer 08 line. Again its alot of basics priced between 100-200 dollars. To me its pretty pricey for basics, but again in her defense the material is of higher quality. Here are some of my picks from her line. More here
